ABOUT SOLARHEATDATA.EU

The website solvarmedata.dk was established in 2008 with the aim of gathering both general descriptions of the large scale solar heating systems in Denmark and showing the solar heat output from these systems. The idea was formed by Brædstrup District Heating after the plant established their first solar installation back in 2007. This plant was the first to combine solar and CHP. Solvarmedata.dk has since displayed both historical and real time production data from an increasing number of Danish solar heating systems.
After the establishment of the Solar Group under the Danish District Heating Association, Brædstrup District Heating offered to entrust the site to the Danish District Heating Association, and the Solar Group has operated it since then.
In order for solar heating systems outside of Denmark to be included an international version of solvarmedata.dk was created in the autumn of 2016 with the domain name “SolarHeatData.eu”.
